With quality mould tooling forming such a critical part of a successful composite production process, Nova has invested heavily in the most efficient in house tooling processes. The 15m track enables Nova's KUKA milling robot to rapidly produce large plugs or moulds in a highly flexible workspace. Nova's craftsmen then create the final high gloss finish necessary for high quality moulded composite parts.

Nova recently produced all plugs and composite moulds for the Aeolos P30 racing yacht including hull, deck, coachroof, rudder and keel tooling.

Nova produces tooling for its own production as well as offering tooling production as service. Nova Composites standard tooling design is suitable for use with prepreg processing and tooling solutions can be customised for all projects as required.
